“Pigno” is the word in Veronese dialect for “cypress”.
For many years the location where our farmhouse stands has been called “the Pigno”, because a stately cypress rose above the corn and wheat fields and the olive trees and vines.
The manor house, built in the 1930’s, still preserves the original architectural structure. The antique balcony, the lintels, the well and the coat of arms stand out like “precious gems” in the surrounding park. And it is exactly in this building where the Allegri family will welcome you upon your arrival at the reception, inviting you to taste its natural and abundant buffet breakfasts in the morning, to relax with whomever you please in the reading room, or in the rustic and cool tavern, where the old wine cellar was located.
In the manor house you will also find:
• the reception and the information-tourism desk,
• the sophisticated rooms (each with a different colored bathroom),
• the enchanting suites,
• the terrace-solarium with refreshing shower to sunbathe in privacy and … at a “high altitude”.
Instead, in the adjacent building there are rooms with kitchenettes.
The entire complex is surrounded by a green park, where the very modern pool with hydromassage and water jets can be found. A private parking lot with 24-hour-a-day video surveillance is at your disposal free of charge during your stay with us.
